The Grass Station is rooting for its hometown MLB team this season, and is offering special deals to Rockies fans who show up at the store with same-day ticket stubs

Hope springs eternal at the start of every baseball season, and this year is no exception. Colorado Rockies fans have high hopes for their team, which plays its home opener of the 2015 season at Coors Field on Friday, April 10 against the Chicago Cubs.

And one Denver-based recreational cannabis dispensary is also hoping to make those high hopes last throughout home game days this season.

In honor of the return of major league baseball to Denver for the 23rd season, The Grass Station – one of Colorado’s oldest and largest recreational cannabis dispensaries, located virtually within eyeshot of Coors Field – is offering some special deals to adult Rockies fans.

Starting on Friday and continuing throughout the season, any customer with a Rockies ticket stub from that day’s game will receive a 20 percent discount on any item in the store – from The Grass Station’s critically-acclaimed line of over 20 different marijuana strains to its edibles, vape pens, inexpensive lanyards and insulated beer coolers, as well as its wide selection of hand-blown glass pipes, high-end apparel and hats.

Grass Station patrons will also get a 10 percent discount if they show up at the dispensary wearing Rockies “away game” team attire.

And The Grass Station is taking pity on baseball fans who find themselves at the mercy of bad weather this season, by offering a 25 percent discount to fans who come in with Rockies tickets on the same day as that rained-out game.

We’re just minutes away from Coors Field; so no matter if you’re a die-hard Rockies fan or a visitor to Colorado, looking to take in some of the state’s unique attractions, major league baseball and The Grass Station are a great double-play.
